Boasting some of the region’s most spectacular event venues, Hamilton is the geographical and economic heart of the Southern Grampians. 1. Hamilton Exhibition and Conference Centre
With the facilities to host up to 800 delegates, the Hamilton Exhibition and Conference Centre can play host to conferences, dinners, expos and everything in between. The three separate function spaces are enhanced with partitions, affording your complete versatility. A light-filled atrium leads out to a spectacular lawned area while also connecting the spaces.
2. Hamilton Performing Arts Centre (HPAC) and Cinema
HPAC and Hamilton Cinema are connected through a first-floor foyer, with bar and kitchenette area perfect for pre-event registrations, meetings, break-outs and networking drinks.
With three main event spaces, the Hamilton Performing Arts Centre can cater to small meetings and large conferences. The Handbury Auditorium has tiered seating for 500 patrons and is perfect for presentations and conferences. The layout and use of a proscenium arch stage means that the audience is close to presenters, avoiding the artificial divide of a raised stage. Hamilton Performing Arts Centre also offers a Multipurpose Function Room and the historic Ted Kenna VC Room. All three event spaces come with access to a welcoming foyer with ticketing/registration box office, café/bar and kitchenette.
Hamilton Cinemas presents an intimate 121-seat theatre for engaging presentations on the big screen. Fully trained staff are provided to ensure all technical aspects are carried out seamlessly, along with access to the cinema’s kiosk for all your popcorn and choc top needs!
3. Chevalier Centre
The Chevalier Centre at Monivae College is a versatile venue, capable of hosting dinners, balls, conferences, performances, sporting events and business meetings! The centre has multiple large spaces including two full sized stadiums, one with tiered fully retractable seating for over 700. An additional 300 chairs can also be included in this venue. There is a large reception/foyer area, seminar room seating for 60, mezzanine and lecture theatre for 50+ and a Performing Arts Centre with seating for over 200, complete with changing rooms.
4. Hamilton Racing Club
Overlooking the racetrack, the Hamilton Racing Club has three venue options to choose from; Puramaka, Sir Agrifo and Apex Star room. Each space is fully equipped with catering facilities, allowing you the opportunity to customise your own menu and the fully-operational bars can be staffed by the Racing Club’s friendly staff.
5. Hamilton Golf Club
The Hamilton Golf Club is a welcoming and fully accessible venue. Its large function room can be partitioned into two spaces, joined by a recently refurbished bar. The wall-to-wall and full-length windows take in the lush golf course, the veranda provides the perfect place for a work BBQ and incorporating a hit of golf into your conference schedule is easily done!
