DUNKELD
The first sighting of the searing peaks of Mt Sturgeon (Wurgarri) and Mt Abrupt (MudDadjug) puncturing through the surrounding fertile soils commands your immediate attention and awe.
These two almighty mountainous sentinels have been guarding the landscape of the Djap Wurrong country for over 400-million years, and serve to welcome you to the southern tip of the Grampians (Gariwerd) mountain range. South via the UNESCO World-Heritage Listed Budj Bim Cultural Landscape (30 min from Hamilton), you're at the Great Ocean Road, with the charming towns of Port Fairy, Warrnambool and the vistas of the 12-Apostles at your fingertips.
To the East is South Australia, with Mt Gambier, the limestone coast and the Coonawarra Vineyards only 90 minutes from Hamilton.

ACCESS
Hamilton is situated on the intersection of three major highways; Hamilton B140, Glenelg B160 and Henty A200. Driving here is easy, and coming from Melbourne, Dunkeld is the most spectacular stop headed West.
Public Transport: Hamilton and Dunkeld are serviced by daily V/Line coaches which connect with trains from Ballarat, Warrnambool, Geelong and Melbourne.
Fly to Hamilton Airport from Melbourne in 45 minutes via a charter service or for an extra special trip, treat VIP guests to a helicopter experience over the Grampians National Park before landing at your chosen accommodation.
