Nestled at the base of the stunning Southern Grampians, this facility sits in the heart of Dunkeld and offers 5 event spaces ranging from the sleek and modern to the historic and atmospheric. 

Hamilton Exhibition & Conference Centre

Situated at the 12 hectare Hamilton Showgrounds, this is our region’s largest indoor venue, with flexible spaces, a light-filled atrium and plentiful outdoor space to activate. 

Hamilton PAC & CINEMA

Part of the Cultural Arts Precinct in the CBD, the Hamilton Performing Arts Centre has an auditorium, function centre, and flexible spaces over two storeys including bars and foyers connecting to the Hamilton Cinema, perfect for sharing drinks and finger food, or for immersive cinematic experiences as part of your event.

Hamilton Racing club

Host your guests in one of three event spaces with views overlooking the evergreen racing track and network around wine barrels on the expansive lawns surrounding the heritage-listed grandstand. 

Hamilton institute of Rural learning

On an extensive nature reserve complete with Bandicoot Enclosure, Nature Trails and indigenous food gardens is this unique property. A mudbrick community facility with quirky indoor spaces and plentiful landscaped gardens for marquees, this is a memorable venue like no other. 

Hamilton INDOOR LEISURE AND AQUATIC CENTRE

Only a short distance from Hamilton’s CBD across from the Hamilton Showgrounds. HILAC has excellent facilities and provides multiple spaces which can be hired for events. The Centre lends itself to sporting-related meetings, training days, award ceremonies and presentations.

In the heart of the CBD, this is Hamilton’s central sporting precinct, containing a heritage listed Edwardian grandstand, grassed oval, function room with bar and kitchen facilities and much more. 

PEDRINA PARK

Hamilton’s largest Sporting hub boasts facilities for most sports plus indoor venues including multi-purpose community rooms suitable for meetings, social functions and team-building activities.

The Chevalier Centre at Monivae College boasts an impressive, spacious entrance foyer leading to an immersive auditorium, large sports facilities which can be dressed for gala dinners and social events. Monivae is also home to our region’s newest event space; the Western Country Region Cricket Hub; a multi-purpose event space overlooking our new state-level cricket facility.

The Hamilton Golf Club is a fantastic spot for golf enthusiasts in our area. It offers a beautiful course with stunning landscapes with a function room with lovely views, making it a charming place to host special occasions like parties or meetings.

ROYAL MAIL HOTEL

The Royal Mail Hotel offers a one-of-kind experience celebrating excellence in food, wine and nature. Located a short drive to the Mount Sturgeon Homestead, which offers gardens and accommodation for up to 12 and an idyllic regional Victorian getaway.

OFF THE RAILS

Off The Rails is a multi-purpose space created by converting the c1875 Dunkeld railway station into a fully accessible, contemporary and light-filled studio. It provides a quirky place for meetings, workshops or intimate concerts.

VOLCANOES DISCOVERY CENTRE

Situated in the picturesque town of Penshurst, at the foot of the extinct Mount Rouse Volcano in a heritage listed bluestone building, the Volcanoes Discovery Centre contains the Education Room function space, adjacent kitchen with equipment suitable for conferences or workshops.

SPECKLED FROG CAFE

Located in the main street of Hamilton, this locally loved cafe boasts a private Function Room accessed through the main venue, or via a seperate entrance off McLuckie’s Lane. The function room includes a catering service which provides seasonal menus.

OBSIDIAN ROOM

In the heart of Hamilton’s CBD, this location is centrally located to all amenities and accommodation options. A bar, function space and lounge, the Obsidian Room is a quirky space ideal for relaxed presentations, meetings and networking drinks.

PIERREPOINT WINES

Located in Tarrington, Pierrepoint Wines cellar door has a unique function space in the rustic converted farm shed which can comfortably seat 50 people. There’s outdoor seating and ample space for a marquee. A great venue to hold conferences, private functions, meetings, dinners or drinks.
